Andy Balman started in events and moved into arts, setting up and running the Biscuit Factory, Europe's biggest commercial art gallery based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Andy is working to develop the Art Fair into an internationally recognised event and present a platform for leading galleries and artists to profile themselves in NewcastleGateshead. Andy recently opened Balman Gallery to focus on developing the collectors market in the region.
Vincent Woods started within the arts industry having studied fine art and moved into event management setting up Benchmark Communications, the leading event management company in the North East. Vincent has worked on large corporate events producing and directing both live events and video production for companies including Proctor & Gamble, Nissan, Sage, Thorn and Nike.
Recently, Vincent set up production company, TallTree Pictures ltd which, produces high calibre films and socio-political documentaries for theatrical, DVD, TV and Internet release. His first dramatic fictional short film in which he directed and produced has recently been accepted into Cannes Short Film Corner May 2010.
