Exhibiting in 2010
After the success of 2009 many galleries have reserved their space for 2010 and we have had many requests from new galleries who are interested in exhibiting.
The 2010 Art Fair is hoping to continue working with several partners that supported the 2009 Art Fair and made a big contribution to its success. These include The Sage Gateshead, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, One NorthEast, Arts Council of England, NewcastleGateshead Initiative, and regional media partners Newcastle Chronicle and Journal (who also publish the Culture Magazine and Exclusive Magazine) from whom we received constant media coverage. We also received huge support from Newcastle City Council and Gateshead Council. We will be looking to have a full marketing campaign in place in 2010 which will be managed by our specialist PR and Marketing agency Mitchellhaltonwatson with Director Wayne Halton personally overseeing the work.
The Sage Gateshead, for those not familiar with it, is a world class venue designed by Sir Norman Foster and home to the Northern Symphonia. Once again we have secured a unique opportunity to use this venue for the Art Fair enabling us to help build the event into one of the major Arts events in the North East. The venue itself has a huge north facing glass canopy with 4 sets of stairs, 4 lifts and open balcony style aspects for both levels with stunning views across the quayside creating a truly spectacular setting for the NewcastleGateshead Art Fair.
If you would like to exhibit at the 2010 NewcastleGateshead Art Fair, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please feel free to give Vincent or Andy a ring to talk through any queries or questions you may have about the Art Fair. With stands from just £875 for 5 linear metres on level one, it can be a great opportunity to promote and sell work for your gallery in a market our partners and we are rapidly developing.

Marketing
The 2010 NewcastelGateshead Art Fair will be supported by a well-tested extensive marketing programme, incorporating a mix of website, advertising, direct mail and PR. This will be managed by our specialist PR and Marketing agency Mitchellhaltonwatson.
In 2009, an estimated £122,000 was spent on advertising, which featured the exhibiting galleries and the work, which they were showing. This resulted in the NewcastleGateshead Art Fair and gallery information reaching an estimated total of 9 million (almost double compared to 2008).
